Residential Services
Emory Valley Center has a variety of residential options with Group and Semi-Independent Living Homes in the Oak Ridge area and Supported Living Homes in Anderson and Morgan Counties with additional sites located in surrounding counties.
- Supported Living in small 1-3 person homes supported with staff 24 hours a day.
- Residential Habilitation in larger 6-10 person group homes supported with staff 24 hours a day.
- Semi Independent Living in small 1-2 person homes supported with staff on an as needed basis.

Day Services
- Supported Employment is competitive employment in the community.
- Facility Based Day Services provide classroom activities in a day program setting that may include workshop activities.
- Community Based Day Services provide integration into the community through volunteer opportunities and general community activities which begin the process for competitive employment.
- Emory Valley Center has a Community Based, Facility Based,
Supported Employment and Workshop located in the Oak Ridge area. Emory Valley Center also has a Facility Based, Community Based and Supported Employment Program located in the Morgan County area.

Early Learning Center and Early Intervention Services
- Emory Valley's Early Learning Center is funded by the
Department of Education and serves children of all ability levels through a
fully inclusive Center Based Program
offering full day and partial day attendance options for children from 12
months to age 5.
The program offers low student/teacher ratios, degreed teaching
staff, and the convenience of receiving OT, PT, and Speech/Language therapies by
contracted providers in the inclusive preschool setting. The Early Learning Center
also offers a Home and Community Based Program
serving TEIS families and children from birth to age 3 in the natural environment of their home or other community
based program.
- To determine eligibility, each child receives a pre-enrollment evaluation
from Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS) evaluator in the domains of social, emotional, language, motor, and cognitive development.
- Services are provided in an inclusive environment serving children
without disabilities to offer developmental models and playmates. Each
classroom maintains a low teacher to child ratio to ensure developmentally
appropriate interactions and activities are provided.

- Transition services are coordinated with local public school systems to ensure each child receives an appropriately designed educational program upon entering the school system.

Family Support Services
Emory Valley Center coordinates Family Support Services for a 10-county region including Anderson, Morgan, Campbell, Scott, Blount, Cocke, Jefferson, Loudon, Roane, and Sevier counties.
- The Family Support Program recognizes the family unit as the greatest resource available to people with severe disabilities and provides assistance to families in their role as the primary caregivers.
- Supports are primarily financial, but include information and referral as well.
Medicaid Home and Community Based Services
The Elder and Disability Waiver of Tennessee is to offer an alternative to Institutional Nursing Home Services through
a community based waiver program. Emory Valley Center offers Case Management Services for the Elder and Disability Waiver
of Tennessee for Anderson, Morgan, Roane, Campbell, Scott, Sevier, Blount, Jefferson, Cocke, Loudon, and Knox County. The Case Manager will assist you in getting the services you need in your home and act as a liaison between you and the Providers. The Case Manager will provide the enrollee comprehensive in home assessments, ongoing case management services, accurate and timely required program documentation, and coordination of Medicaid-covered services and community resources.
Personal Assistance
Emory Valley Center provides this support to an individual through placement of a staff member in the person's family home or in the community.
