Emory Valley Center Future Facility Plans

There is an urgent need to replace the current Emory Valley Center space now provided in a facility that will soon be demolished. A new facility is planned and designed and a capital fund campaign is underway. Parts of the Emory Valley Center, including the administrative offices and our Workshop program, are located in an owned facility on the southwest side of Emory Valley Road in Oak Ridge. However, much of our operation is housed across Emory Valley Road in a portion of the former Daniel Arthur Rehabilitation Center building. This old building, owned by Anderson County, also houses several other organizations and offices - and is scheduled to be razed within a few years. There is an urgent need to replace the current Emory Valley Center space that is now provided in the building that will soon be demolished. The Emory Valley Center owns land adjacent to our existing facility and intends to use that land for a building to replace the space that will soon be lost.

A new facility is planned and designed and a capital fund campaign is underway. Below are preliminary building drawings and the proposed floor plan for usage of the facility. Donations toward construction of this new building are needed - and can be made from our Donations page.
