Emory Valley Center, established in 1955 by a group of family members, is a private non-profit agency providing supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Originally established as an adult day program, Emory Valley Center now provides a wide variety of supports and services including: Supported Living, Residential Habilitation, Semi-Independent Living, Facility Based and Community Based Day Services, Supported Employment, Case Management, Personal Assistance, Nursing Services, Early Intervention Services, Family Support Services and Transportation.
Emory Valley Center is funded through the Department of Finance and Administration's Division of Intellectual Disabilities Services, the Department of Human Service's Division of Rehabilitative Services, the Department of Housing and Human Development, and United Way.
Emory Valley Center is licensed by the Tennessee Department on Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities and the Department of Health.
